Comtemporary design adds warmth to the Christopher Collection. This collection contains medicine cabinets, wall niches, toilet paper holders, and magazine racks - all designed in the same style to go together. The wall niche is perfect as a medicine cabinet replacement if you would rather not have a door and is available in multiple heights and multiple finishes û including popular medicine cabinet replacement heights! But if you don't see the size you need, just order a custom size. Can also be used in hallways, bedrooms or anywhere you want extra storage or memory box display space. These units were designed as an open niche but could have a door added to them later if desired. Recesses in the wall between the studs, and mounts using construction adhesive on the back side of the frame moulding, then it just glues to the outside surface of your drywall. Alternatively, you can choose to screw it to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the frame is outside the wall for a clean and modern look. Glass shelves inside are fully adjustable. The number of shelves you get depends on the height of the niche. But we have given you a minimum of 3 shelves, so even in the smallest niches, you'll still have enough. 30"-36" heights get 4 shelves. 42" and 48" heights get 5 shelves. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Because the shelves slide in the supports rather than setting on them, the shelves can't fall off and can't move, but you can still adjust them anytime you want. Box and frame is SOLID PINE. The box is 3.5" deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. Pre-finished versions come completely assembled! For other versions, you only need to screw on the back panel once you've painted or stained your niche. Then insert it in the wall and use construction adhesive to mount it, or screw it to the studs on either side. For niches taller than 48", there may be a horizontal brace midway up in the back of the niche as it is needed for structural stability.
